CEIP SANTA ANA TEACHERS TAKE AI COURSE IN PRAGUE ACCORDING TO ERASMUS+ PLAN

Four teachers from CEIP Santa de Cuenca participated in an innovative Erasmus+ training course on the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education, held in Prague this week.
The course, entitled «ChatGPT and Artificial Intelligence in the Classroom: Tools and Strategies», aimed to equip teachers with the skills to use advanced technologies to improve teaching and learning. During the sessions, participants explored various AI tools, learned how to integrate them into their curricula, and discussed the impact of these technologies on education.
The attending teachers highlighted the importance of keeping up with new technologies and how AI can transform the way education is delivered. «Artificial Intelligence offers incredible opportunities to personalize learning and make our classes more interactive and effective,» commented Luis Angel Martínez, coordinator of the school’s Bilingual Program.
The course included practical workshops, demonstrations of AI-based educational software, and several co-working sessions where teachers had the opportunity to practice the benefits, difficulties, and challenges of this technology in everyday situations.
In parallel with the training, teachers made several cultural visits to the city of Prague, not only to enrich their knowledge of Czech history and culture but also to strengthen ties between participants and improve their English proficiency, a key skill for international collaboration in future training actions of these Erasmus+ Programs.
The training in Prague is part of a broader project at CEIP Santa de Cuenca to integrate this new technology into the curriculum and thus improve the digital competence of its students. «This course is a continuation of what we have already been working on at the school. Our goal now is to transfer to the school’s teaching staff everything learned to take it to the classroom and continue with a quality education adapted to the needs of the 21st century,» says Andrés Ramos, director of the center.
CEIP Santa de Cuenca is committed to educational innovation and will continue to seek opportunities for its teaching staff to acquire new skills and knowledge in emerging technologies. Participation in this course on Artificial Intelligence is a significant step towards modernizing its educational practices and preparing its students for the future.
